Welcome!
My name is Jack and I am currently studying for my BSc (Hons) in Psychology at the University of Bournemouth as well as forwarding projects in Haptic Saliency and Visual Perception. One of my goals is to better understand the world we live in through vision and touch. Another interest of mine is Philosophy; more specifically the perspectives of individuals such as Nietzsche or Marcus Aurelius and how they can help shift our modern world. Through “The Art of Balance“ I aim to depict aspects of influential individuals, craft a novel understanding and combine this with various areas of modern life. Such is to provide an alternative perspective on delicate issues, promoting kindness and compassion above all else. I am excited in welcoming you to this journey of mine.
The Art of Balance
The Art of Balance is an elegant, inquisitive, mind-opening article series which draws from all walks of life. A journey which encapsulates many perspectives and provides detailed understanding of all topics in discussion. A brief summary of the article will be available for everyone to enjoy. However, due to hours spent researching, writing, editing and much much more, the full article will be available for a small premium. This will vary depending on the length of time spent. I look forward to seeing you there. Thank you for taking the time to read thus far!
About me
Originally from the big city of London, I moved to a little coastal town called Swanage. Having grown up moving from school to school, after my A-levels I decided to take a few years out from education and bartend around the south of the UK. After providing excellent service in places such as The Nici and The Pig Hotels, I decided that Hospitality was not the life I had envisioned for myself. Such that now we have gone back into education to train as a Psychologist and aid in research within Visual Perception and Haptic Saliency. Areas of deep interest with prospects to become a better version of myself everyday.
